The Innovate for Change: Startup Challenge is a dynamic, hands-on program designed for middle and high school students to develop sustainable business solutions that address pressing social and environmental issues. Working in teams, students are guided through the entire innovation process—from identifying real-world problems to designing viable products or services. A key component of the challenge is encouraging students to actively engage with their communities. By seeking support, feedback, and collaboration from local stakeholders, students learn to refine their ideas and ensure their solutions are both impactful and relevant. This approach not only enhances the feasibility of their projects but also fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility towards community development. Throughout the program, participants will have opportunities to create promotional materials and present their business proposals, gaining valuable experience in communication and entrepreneurship.
